Sharan's initial inspiration came from observing the interior of transport vehicles, which led her to be intrigued by the texture and stitch detail of upholstery fabric used in cars. To further develop her concept Sharan chose to focus on the car brand Bentley.

Sharan took visual inspiration from both the heritage and new range of Bentleys; the interior inspired her colour palette whilst the  fabric texture and outer-interior contributed to the silhouette of the garments. Sharan was also inspired by the company's aesthetic and bespoke nature in their products, Sharan  wished to achieve the same bespoke value in her collection.
